posted February 14, 2002 12:53 PM Does the Web tool do any Base64 encoding of the username and password? A server that I am trying to post to requires the username and password to be Base64 encoded - see below. The Automated Access application must also have a valid user ID and password. This user ID and password combination is used to create the HTTP authentication header. The user ID and password are combined together with a colon character and then Base64 encoded. This header must be sent with every request. |
