posted April 6, 2002 6:14 AM For this FTP tools, what is the difference between the ActiveX version and .NET version ? If I buy it, can I use it in my shareware program and then distribute it ? Any distribution fee or other licence fee I need to pay ? regards, Raymond |

posted April 8, 2002 9:38 AM Hi Raymond, There are no royalties or fees beyond the cost of the development license. Aside from differing interfaces and the fact that the new product was written in C# for .NET, one of the biggest differences is the flexibility and control you now have over the Data connection, which was not possible with the ActiveX control. -ken K M Drake Dart Tech Support |
