posted January 7, 2002 5:47 PM I know the PowerTCP Toolkit 4.1 wasn't specifically targeted for .NET development, but please consider the following anyway... I am developing a service with .NET that performs SNMP polling, and am running into the following error when instantiating the SNMP Library : "Class not licensed for use." The same code initializes and works properly as a Windows or console application. Any ideas? |

posted January 8, 2002 9:28 AM Hi, No, I have not experimented with either services or our legacy controls in .NET. At the moment, I do not have any ideas. Sorry, -ken K M Drake Dart Tech Support |

posted July 16, 2002 9:17 AM Hi, I have since successfully used the legacy Snmp control in a simple service without seeing this error. Are you sure the service was compiled on a machine with your Pro 119- license number installed, and that the distributed ocx was stamped? Thanks, -ken |
