posted January 2, 2002 5:42 AM When I zip a file (using the QuickZip method), the modification date of the this zipped file is set equal to the modification date of the created zipfile itself minus 5 hours! I would like to keep to the modification date of the zipped file(s) unchanged! |

posted January 2, 2002 9:05 AM Hi, I'm not sure what you mean. When I create a zip file, the Modified date of this file is correct, and the dates of the files within the archive are unaffected. Are you sure your machine's time and time zone are correct? Thanks, -ken K M Drake Dart Tech Support |

posted January 7, 2002 9:03 AM Hi again, The modified date of all files within the archive of a created zip file is exactly 5 hours less than the modification date of the zip file itself. I do not exactly understand what you mean with your question if my time and time zone is correct (how can it be incorrect?) but my timezone equals Amsterdam and the time of my computer equals the time it is in Amsterdam right now. Regards, Marieke |

posted January 7, 2002 9:59 AM Hi Marieke, Thanks for clarifying; I have been able to reproduce the problem. I have submitted a report to the project manager (issue #762), but there is currently no ETA on its fix. Thanks for pointing this out to us, -ken K M Drake Dart Tech Support |
