Using the Mail Tools, is there a way to set a mail status to read, without actually reading an email?

My project requires that I go after the attachment, and I'm not interested in the message itself.

Since you posted this in the PowerTCP Pro forum, I must assume that you are referring to the POP protocol. If that's the case, no, you can't modify the message stored on the server.

We also sell a Tool called the Mail Tool that has an IMAP control. With IMAP, you can set the Read/UnRead flag and the samples show how.

Hope this helps!
