posted June 19, 2001 11:51 AM The idea has come from pcAnywhere. There is an option when setting up an automated task (File Transfer) that allows you to 'Synchronize folders'. I quote... 'synchronize In pcAnywhere, to copy files in both directions between two folders on host and remote PCs to make the folders identical to one another, each containing the same files. If two files with the same name are located, the file with the most current date and time is copied. Must be performed from the File Manager window. Compare clone.' To be used with caution!! Hope this helps. Regards, Andrew |

posted June 19, 2001 11:58 AM It doesn't seem like it would be too hard. You'd get a local list and a remotelist, then compare the contents and create a list of actions to be performed. I don't have any specific code samples, but if you are short on time and want to pay for it, you can contact our solutions department (solutions@dart.com) and get someone (most likely moi) to do the grunt work for you. Regards, Tony |
