posted June 12, 2001 9:41 AM Is there any way with the FTP tool to retrieve the date of a file? The timestamp property returns the text of the listing and it is quite difficult to figure out what the date actually is for something like 2nd January which can be returned in a variety of ways. i.e. 02-01-2001 could be Jan 2nd 2001 or Feb 1st 2001. Is this just a limitation of the FTP protocol? Or is there some alternative way to retrieve the value. Thanks. Morgan Fraser |
