posted May 10, 2001 12:11 PM I am using Dart FTP control and I get an error "550 filename.txt: The system cannot find the path specified." if the filename is more than 232 characters. Is there any restriction on length of the filename. Any ideas? pls respond Thanks Sridhar |

posted May 10, 2001 12:25 PM Please be more specific. I just created a file with a name that was 233 bytes long on my Linux FTP server. I was able to get it with our sample. Thanks, Tony |

posted May 10, 2001 1:17 PM I don't understand. If you can't create a file that is 233 characters long, then how can you know that you can't view it? What created the file you can't view. Please describe the detailed steps I need to take to see the problem. Thanks. |
