posted April 26, 2001 12:33 PM No, just wanted to know. I was going to try and go through the proxy on our network which is a MS Proxy. So what should the ProxyType be set to? |

posted April 26, 2001 12:38 PM It depends. Could be SOCKS4/5, could be none. I can't really say. I was under the impression that MSPROXY was transparent in that each client has software installed that allows it to interact with the server. |

posted April 26, 2001 12:42 PM Not sure about that. I'm on the network and haven't got Proxy Client installed and still go through it. Just when ever I fire-up explorer it asks me to login. Once logged in you don't know or see any difference. If you install Proxy Client I think it just fires straight through. |
