posted March 11, 2001 12:20 PM Is it possible to negotiate a secure connection without using certificates with the Web Tool? This would be the equivalent of having the anonymous tag set within the cipher, ie SSL_DH_anon_EXPORT_WITH_RC4_40_MD5, which is part of the SSL spec. When my server is using certificates, the client using the Web Tool negotiates and posts information fine. If it isn't using certificates and is just encrypting, I get an error about it being unable to load the SSL libraries. |

posted March 11, 2001 2:32 PM The HTTP control uses WININET.DLL for communications. So basically it does whatever IE does. The Online help explains more. See the section on Security Constants. Hope this helps! Tony Priest Dart Tech Support |
