posted October 5, 2000 5:46 AM I can not find in any documentation the cause of an error 1157 message. You can see below some lines of debug info. This is only happening to one of my users. This user appears to have all other requirements correctly installed and I am struggling to find out what needs to be fixed/taken into account. STATE :1 - Starting request sequence. STATE :2 - Resolving host. STATE :3 - Resolved host. STATE :4 - Starting connection. STATE :5 - Connected to server. STATE :10 - Closing connection. STATE :11 - Connection closed. Error #1157 Miscellaneous error. Error #1157: Miscellaneous error. Form HTTP Un-Loaded Operation Cancelled Message: Error (1157)Miscellaneous error. |

posted October 9, 2000 4:58 AM I am unable to duplicate the problem at present. Just one user out of the 25 up and running so far is getting this error message. It happens on all page requests from this user. The user is running IE4.01 with the latest version of DCOM and winsock installed. |
