posted September 13, 2004 9:34 AM Hello, i´ve up to 20 TCPServer-Devices arround running an connect to each as a TCPClient with the PowerTCP.NET Socket. There are reasons, that some of the servers diconnect one or two times a day, may be because technical problems. But: How can i detect on my ClientSide sure an quick (the best way would be OnEvent) that a server is lost? So i could try a reconnect on it. What di you mean? Christian |

posted September 13, 2004 12:06 PM If you enable KeepAlive in the registry (see http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/891), then set KeepAlive to true for the component, you should get a ConnectedChanged event when the server closes. If you need more info, search this forum for "KeepAlive" |
